What is the Royal Quest?
Peace reigns in the Magical Realm. With the Lord Shadow and Lady Spring’s joyous wedding at last year’s Realm, the couple has been too busy with marital bliss to stir up trouble. All seems right and good with the realm.
But beneath the calm, something terrible lurks. Those who listen can hear sinister mutterings planning the downfall of the kingdom. Members of the court are finding themselves missing time, unable to recall what they were just doing, and still others are feeling wicked impulses, urging them to behave in ways they would normally consider vile.
Join other heroic adventurers for key moments to aid a Realm quietly besieged by an invisible threat. Will you find the source of the corruption or watch the court fall victim to the evil within themselves?
(All ages invited to participate! Quest Givers can be easily spotted by the large orange exclamation point over their heads.)
Simple Quests of the Magical Realm
There are always things to do in the Magical Realm. The Royal Court have many things they’re trying to do throughout the day. You may be asked to deliver love letters, pull pranks, spy on entertainers, or search the marketplace for lost objects. Those who lend their aid may well be granted the favor of the members of the court.
Aileen, Queen of Summer
she/her
Known as the bringer of light, our warm-hearted Queen is a feisty lady who rules the kingdom with charm and grace. The luckiest of her subjects might be graced with a magical butterfly from her skirts.
“What do you mean the flowers are wilting? Bring them closer to my smile.”
Oren, King of Earth
he/him
Ruling hand in hand with his bride, our dear King listens to what all life has to teach us.
“When looking for ways to stay grounded, leave no stone unturned.”
Odeletta, Lady of Spring

Sweet yet sassy, and even a little stormy, Spring brings light, joy, and unpredictability to everything she does.
“Springtime is full of mysterious twists and turns, with unexpected blooms around every corner.”
Ignacia, Lord of Fire

Fire encompasses and embraces all. From the warmth of the hearth to the burn of a brand, the power lies in the will of the wielder. The smallest spark can create an unstoppable inferno.

Rosalinda, Lady of Winter

Cool and calm, with just a little bite, Winter reminds us just how unique everyone is.
“Cold winters require warm hearts. Come sit by the hearth and share stories with me!”
Tuuli, Lord of Air

Always on the move, Air invigorates those around him, but you must also keep an eye out for his more mischievous side.
“Sometimes that which cannot be seen is the most powerful force of all. May you become a force to be reckoned with.”
Amber, Lady of Autumn

Bright and busy, with an underlying warmth, Autumn is always prepared for what’s coming.
“Death brings new life, just like all goodbyes bring new hellos. Please tell them hello from me, too.”
Potameer, Lord of Water

Kind and creative, Water has the deepest of souls, but always makes a splash.

Nox, Lord of Shadows

Always trying to bring so-called ‘balance’ to the kingdom, the King’s brother and his minions prepare for their next move among the fairy court.

Lady Spark
she/they
Lady Spark works hard to keep the hearthfires running with her bright spirit and strong matchsticks.
“Hearthfires are alive and they need to be well tended to be strong. Just like your heart.”
Lady Thistledown Cirsium (Thistle)
she/her
Ever eager to serve the Realm, Lady Thistle goes where she is needed and will always answer Their Majesties’ call.
“Wildflowers are full of surprises. Keep your eye out for the next one!”
Lady Snowflake
she/they
Light, lithe, and never afraid to flurry, Lady Snowflake flits about the realm with her coy smile and sharp wit.
“Look for the sparkle in the snow, not the glare in the ice. If you can’t find the sparkle, make it.”
Sir Cro
he/him
A loyal and dependable Earth dragon, Sir Cro puts almost as much effort into curating his shiny trinket collection as serving Their Majesties.

Vesper, Court Jester
he/they
Vesper, court jester never pesters or pursues. He prances, preens, and prepares the most joyous of jests!
